CHICAGO, Jan. 30 (UPI) -- Chicago talk-show host Oprah Winfrey is the subject of artist Daniel Edwards' latest work -- a gold-hued, bronze sculpture titled "The Oprah Sarcophagus."

Edwards insists the revealing piece, which bears Winfrey's likeness on what looks like an Egyptian-style sarcophagus, "pays homage to the closest thing America has to a living deity," the Chicago Sun-Times said Wednesday.

The sculptor's other celebrity-themed works include "The Birth of Sean Preston," "Paris Hilton Autopsy" and "Suri Cruise's First Poop," the newspaper noted.
