
LOS ANGELES, Jan. 24 (UPI) -- ABC has announced it will air a special enhanced version of the third season finale of its hit U.S. series "Lost" ahead of its upcoming fourth season premiere.
The enhanced version of the two-hour Season 3 finale will include text on the lower third of the screen that will reveal clues about the mysterious island-set show, as well as offer back stories to catch new viewers up for Season 4, the network said.
The special enhanced episode is set to air Wednesday at 9 p.m. EST on ABC.
The two-hour Season 4 opener is scheduled to debut Thursday at 8 p.m. EST.
The cast of the show includes Naveen Andrews, Henry Ian Cusick, Emilie de Ravin, Michael Emerson, Matthew Fox, Jorge Garcia, Josh Holloway, Daniel Dae Kim, Yunjin Kim, Evangeline Lilly, Elizabeth Mitchell, Terry O'Quinn and Harold Perrineau.
