LOS ANGELES, Jan. 21 (UPI) -- Spanish actress Penelope Cruz has signed on to lend her voice to Juarez the guinea pig in "G-Force," a film that combines live-action and animation.

Nicolas Cage, Steve Buscemi and Tracy Morgan will also lend their voices to animated animal characters, while Bill Nighy and Will Arnett will play humans, The Hollywood Reporter said Monday.

"G-Force," which will be produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, marks the directorial debut of Oscar-winning visual effects master Hoyt Yeatman, the trade paper said.

Yeatman and Bruckheimer previously worked together on "The Rock," "Con Air," "Armageddon" and "Kangaroo Jack."

Cruz has starred in "Volver," "Vanilla Sky," "Sahara," "Blow," "Gothika" and "Woman on Top."
