LOS ANGELES, Jan. 19 (UPI) -- Pop singer Paula Abdul unveiled the top single from an upcoming album during an appearance on a Los Angeles radio show Friday.

Abdul, along with fellow "American Idol" judge Randy Jackson, were guests on "Idol" host Ryan Seacrest's KIIS-FM show and Abdul took time to officially debut her new single "Dance Like There's No Tomorrow," People magazine said.

Abdul's single will be featured on the album "Randy Jackson's Music Club, Vol. 1." and Jackson made no secret regarding the importance of the musical unveiling.

"This is a big moment, dude," Jackson said of the song's debut on the Los Angeles station.

While Abdul has not released a new single since 1993, she told People everything seemed to work out perfectly when it came to creating "Tomorrow."

"It just seemed the right time," Abdul said. "The timing just came together."
