Will Smith nervous about daughter dating

NEW YORK, Jan. 18 (UPI) -- Hollywood actor George Clooney has been named a United Nations "messenger of peace" because of his humanitarian work, People.com reported Friday.
Clooney, who raises money for those suffering in Darfur and increases awareness about the crisis affecting the region, is being "recognized for focusing public attention on crucial international political and social issues," U.N. spokeswoman Michele Montas told the magazine.
Clooney and his frequent on-screen collaborator, Don Cheadle, received the Peace Summit Award by a group of Nobel Laureates last month for their work for Darfur, a region in western Sudan.
