LONDON , Jan. 15 (UPI) -- British rock star Ron Wood is recovering from a hernia operation he underwent last week, the BBC reported Tuesday.

The 60-year-old Rolling Stones guitarist was instructed to take it easy for two months after the surgery.

"Knowing Ronnie, he'll be back on his feet sooner rather than later," the musician's representative told the BBC.
