LOS ANGELES, Jan. 12 (UPI) -- Comedian David Alan Grier and his wife, Christine Y. Kim, welcomed a baby girl into their family this week in Los Angeles.
Kim said they have named their newborn child Luisa Danbi Grier-Kim and that her husband was ecstatic following her Caesarian section birth, People magazine reported Friday.
"She's amazing. Her looks evolve every moment, and she looks like me and David," Kim said after Thursday's successful delivery. "I'm feeling euphoric, and David is ecstatic. He's the perfect proud father."
Kim had said previously her pregnancy had been pleasant overall, noting her 52-year-old TV and film actor-husband had not pointed out any unusual behaviors or cravings on her part.
"We're really excited. I have no morning sickness, no bizarre cravings," she said in an interview last October. "As far as David is telling me, unless he's lying, I haven't had any crazy, hormonal mood swings. It's been a pleasant pregnancy so far."
