LOS ANGELES, Jan. 11 (UPI) -- Emergency responders who answered a call at Britney Spears' Los Angeles home are expected to testify next week at her child custody hearing.

Police, paramedics and firefighters called to the scene when Spears refused to return her two toddler sons to their father -- her ex-husband Kevin Federline -- at the end of a visit last week are expected to testify at the hearing, set for Monday. They "will describe what transpired that night," a source told People.com.

Court documents show Federline's lawyer, Vincent Kaplan" class="tpstyle">Mark Vincent Kaplan, subpoenaed the Los Angeles Police Department's documentation on the incident, as well as the identities of the officers who showed up.

Spears was hospitalized for a psychological evaluation after the episode.

Federline was awarded temporary sole physical and legal custody of the children, while the pop singer was stripped of her visitation rights.

If the court decides Monday to suspend Spears' visitation rights further, she may not see her sons until April, which is when the custody trial is slated to begin, Kaplan told People.com.
