LOS ANGELES, Jan. 9 (UPI) -- An estimated 7.3 million viewers tuned in last week to see the season finale of the U.S. television series "Zoey 101," which stars Jamie Lynn Spears.

The hourlong installment, which aired Friday, was the first episode broadcast since Spears, 16, announced last month she was pregnant.

The episode was the most watched in the Nickelodeon show's history, E! Online said.

A repeat of the "Zoey 101" cliffhanger Saturday night averaged another 3.9 million viewers.

Despite rumors the cable network plans to yank the show, Nickelodeon said last week it will air as planned the already filmed fourth season of "Zoey 101," starting in February.
