LONDON, Jan. 6 (UPI) -- Police in London are awaiting the autopsy results on actress Natasha Collins, who was found dead of an apparent cocaine overdose last week.

While police have tabbed a drug overdose or heart failure as the possible cause of the death for the 31-year-old, the post mortem should reveal exact how the "Real Women" actress died, The Independent said Sunday.

Meanwhile, Collins' mother opposed initial police suspicions that the actress' fiancee, TV host Mark Speight, had done something to harm her daughter.

"There is no way on earth that Mark would do anything to harm Tash," said Collins' mother, Jacqueline.

"I'm in absolute shock. I was only with them at Christmas. They both seemed fine and very happy."

The distraught parent told the newspaper her daughter, who was on medication for injuries she suffered in a car accident seven years ago, may have died after taken the wrong drugs.

The Mail on Sunday said the elder Collins met with Speight Saturday after the "SMart" host offered his condolences for her daughter's death last Thursday.
