CANDLES LIT IN MEMORY OF BHUTTO IN ISLAMABAD

NEW YORK, Dec. 31 (UPI) -- Publishing giant HarperCollins said it planned to release a book by Benazir Bhutto, completed about a week before she was assassinated, as soon as possible.

Bhutto finished "Reconciliation: Islam, Democracy and the West" about a week before she was killed last week after a political rally, Publishers Weekly reported on its Web site.

The book by the former Pakistani prime minister was set to be released in the spring but will now be published "as soon as possible," editor Tim Duggan told the trade publication.

A specific release date hasn't been set, however, he said.
