BEVERLY HILLS , Calif., Dec. 27 (UPI) -- The Los Angeles County District Attorney's office has charged actress Rebecca De Mornay with two counts of misdemeanor driving under the influence.

De Mornay is best-known for her roles in the movies "Risky Business," "The Three Musketeers" and "The Hand that Rocks the Cradle." She also recently co-starred in the HBO series, "John from Cincinnati."

She was stopped by police on Oct. 30 at 10:30 p.m. for an unknown traffic violation on Sunset Boulevard.

Police said they "immediately detected an odor of alcoholic beverages" and asked De Mornay to perform several field sobriety tests, which she failed, TMZ.com reported. Her blood alcohol level was allegedly .09.

She was arrested, cited for DUI and released from the Beverly Hills police station.

The actress is scheduled to be arraigned Monday, but she does not have to appear in court, TMZ.com said.
