LOS ANGELES, Dec. 27 (UPI) -- Hollywood actress Mischa Barton was released from police custody after posting $10,000 bail following her Thursday morning arrest for alleged drunken driving.
Barton, 21, was pulled over by police about 3 a.m. in West Hollywood because she was allegedly straddling two lanes of traffic and failed to signal when making a turn, People.com said.
The former star of TV's "The O.C." was arrested for driving under the influence, possession of illegal narcotics and driving without a valid license, TMZ.com reported.
She was released after she posted $10,000 bail, police said.
People.com said no details were available regarding the illegal drugs Barton allegedly had in her possession.
The magazine also said a representative for Barton did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
