Reilly looking forward to Globes gala

NEW YORK , Dec. 22 (UPI) -- U.S. actor John C. Reilly said he's happy to be nominated for a Golden Globe and looking forward to the party, but doesn't know what he'll do if he wins.

Reilly earned the nomination for his performance in the new big-screen comedy, "Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story."

"If I was selling plumbing supplies, it would be like getting salesman of the year," he said. "That's what it feels like to me, that my peers and the people that really know my industry have said, 'Hey, man, you really stood out of the pack this year and congratulations.' It's great. I hope I never win one of these things because the pressure of what to do once you're the crowned one? I don't know what I would do with that pressure! I think it's better just to be in the club. ... It's almost like the nomination is better than the win."

Reilly said he likes to attend the Globes show because it is like a convention for actors.

"Everyone from TV, everyone from cable, everyone from movies (is there) and they're sitting at these tables, so you actually get to walk around and mingle," he told UPI in New York recently.
