NEW YORK, Dec. 18 (UPI) -- U.S. culinary personality Rachael Ray has signed a two-year deal with the Food Network for a new prime-time series called "Rachael's Vacation."

Set to premiere Jan. 12, the show follows Ray as she travels the globe, stopping in places like Dublin, Ireland; Bordeaux, France; Lisbon, Portugal; and Barcelona, Spain, to introduce viewers to the spots she loves, as well as giving tips for traveling, shopping and dining.

As part of the agreement, Ray also agreed to appear in 60 new episodes per year of the daytime series "30 Minute Meals," the Food Network said in a statement.

Additional terms of the arrangement weren't disclosed.

"Rachael is the quintessential example of the homegrown stars we create at Food Network," said Brooke Johnson, president of the Food Network. "She has been with us since 2001 and we have built a strong partnership that will continue for years to come and bring more new and exciting projects."
