LOS ANGELES, Dec. 17 (UPI) -- Hollywood stars Ali Larter and Hayes MacArthur have gotten engaged.

Larter is one of the cast members of TV's "Heroes," while MacArthur was recently seen in the big-screen comedy "The Game Plan."

"It's true," a representative for the actress told People.com, confirming the couple's engagement. "They're thrilled."

This will be the first marriage for both celebrities, who have been dating for close to 2 1/2 years, E! Online noted.

A wedding date has not been set yet, People.com said.

"I told my boyfriend after three weeks that I wanted to marry him and that we could do it tomorrow," Larter was recently quoted as saying. "I look forward to that time when I'm home with babies."
