LOS ANGELES, Dec. 9 (UPI) -- Soccer star David Beckham teamed with the children of gangsta rapper Snoop Dogg for a California coaching session to be aired on television.

The session, to be aired Sunday, Dec. 16 on E! Entertainment Television, features Beckham, Snoop Dogg and the rapper's three children, Cord, Cordell and Cori, the Daily Mail reported Sunday.

"Snoop was really pleased to work with David," said a spokesman for Dogg, whose children are soccer fans and idolize Beckham.

In exchange for the soccer lessons, the British newspaper said, Snoop Dogg took Beckham to his favorite restaurant in Los Angeles: Roscoe's House of Chicken 'n' Waffles.

The rap artist was arrested last year in England with five members of his entourage after a brawl at Heathrow Airport, the Mail noted.
