LOS ANGELES, Dec. 5 (UPI) -- A Beverly Hills plastic surgeon claims about half of the actresses working in Hollywood have undergone some type of cosmetic procedure, Usmagazine.com reported.
Raj Kanodia, the surgeon who has reportedly renovated the noses of Ashlee Simpson, Jennifer Aniston and Cameron Diaz, said he thinks about 60 percent of Hollywood women have had some work done.
"It seems more people who have absolutely nothing wrong with them are getting surgery," casting director April Webster told the magazine.
The report said actresses appear to be more candid regarding the issue, which was long considered a matter one didn't discuss.
"The Nanny Diaries" and "Match Point" star Scarlett Johansson was quoted last year as saying: "I definitely believe in plastic surgery. I don't want to be an old hag. There's no fun in that."
That said, Johansson has vehemently denied to OK! magazine she has had surgery on her nose as is suggested by the piece in Us Weekly.
