Foo Fighters to perform at VGAs

NEW YORK, Dec. 5 (UPI) -- The Grammy Award-winning rock band Foo Fighters is to perform at Spike TV's upcoming "Video Game Awards" ceremony in Las Vegas.

The gig is an appropriate one since the group is featured in the video game, "Rock Band."

To be presided over by Hollywood film star Samuel L. Jackson, the event is set to tape at the Mandalay Bay Events Center Friday and slated to air on Spike TV Sunday.
