LOS ANGELES, Nov. 29 (UPI) -- Hollywood actors Bruce Davison, Wayne Kasserman and Greg Ellis have signed on to star in the new TV movie, "Knight Rider," Zap2it.com said Thursday.

NBC's two-hour sequel to the 1980s TV show could also serve as pilot for a new "Knight Rider" series if the network decides to order one.

At the center of the new incarnation is Mike Tracer (played by Justin Bruening), son of crime-fighter Michael Knight (played by David Hasselhoff in the original show.)

The TV movie will also feature a second-generation version of the iconic KITT, an artificially intelligent car.
