Carson Daly heading back to work

BURBANK, Calif., Nov. 27 (UPI) -- U.S. late-night talk-show host Carson Daly is heading back to work, despite the ongoing Writers Guild of America strike, The Hollywood Reporter said.

Daly will be the first late-night host to appear on air since the WGA walkout began Nov. 5.

He is expected to tape new episodes of "Last Call with Carson Daly" this week so NBC can start airing them next week, the trade paper said.
