Stars line up for 'Celebrity Apprentice'

NEW YORK, Nov. 19 (UPI) -- Trace Adkins, Stephen Baldwin, Nadia Comaneci and Gene Simmons are among celebrities set to compete in the U.S. reality series "The Celebrity Apprentice."

Also expected to appear on Donald Trump's show are Marilu Henner, Lennox Lewis, Omarosa, Vincent Pastore, Tiffany Fallon, Jennie Finch, Nely Galan, Piers Morgan and Tito Ortiz.

The series, scheduled to begin Jan. 3, will follow contestants as they raise money for charities.

The celebrities will compete in business-driven tasks around New York City, using their fame along with their business acumen to win challenges,while raising money and awareness for their respective causes, NBC said.

The final winner will be crowned the first "Celebrity Apprentice" and will have the honor of delivering a $250,000 bonus check to a designated charity.
