Michelle Obama to host 'The View'

NEW YORK, Nov. 19 (UPI) -- The wife of U.S. Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama has agreed to be a guest host on an upcoming session of "The View," CNN said Monday.

Michelle Obama is slated to be a fill-in panelist on the popular day-time talk-show Dec. 5.

Regular co-presenter Elisabeth Hasselbeck is on maternity leave until the new year, having given birth to her second child, Taylor Thomas, earlier this month.
