LOS ANGELES, Nov. 17 (UPI) -- All five of the Spice Girls, back on stage together for the first time in nearly a decade, lip-synced to a backing track rather than sing live.
The Spice Girls -- Posh, Scary, Sporty, Ginger and Baby -- wore 1940s-style pencil skirts and padded shoulder jackets to lip-sync their old hit "Stop" at Friday night's Victoria Secret Lingerie Fashion Show in Hollywood, the Los Angeles Times reported Saturday.
"I was dancing and singing along," said Hayden Panettiere, star of the television series Heroes. "I loved it."
The Spice Girls, who now have seven children between them, performed as a preview of their upcoming reunion world tour, set to begin Dec. 2 in Canada, The Telegraph reported.
The Spice Girls, who went their separate ways in 2000, have, to date, sold more than 55 million albums and had 10 No. 1 singles, the British newspaper said.
