HOLLYWOOD, Nov. 15 (UPI) -- Rumer Willis, the daughter of Hollywood stars Demi Moore and Bruce Willis, has been named Miss Golden Globe and will assist in the upcoming awards ceremony.
A title bestowed on the daughter of a celebrity, Miss Golden Globe traditionally helps out during the telecast.
Willis, 19, will appear during the 65th annual event honoring the year's best in television and film on Jan. 13.
"We are delighted to have Rumer Willis join us to celebrate 'The 65th Annual Golden Globe Awards,'" Jorge Camara, president of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, said in a statement. "Since both of her parents have enjoyed successful entertainment careers in the acting profession, she is doubly qualified to serve as Miss Golden Globe."
Named after British novelist Rumer Godden, Willis made her film debut at the age of five in the movie "Now and Then." She continued acting alongside her parents in such films as "Striptease," "The Whole Nine Yards" and "Hostage" and will be seen in the movies "I Know What Boys Like" and "From Within" next year.
