Smith to make her directorial debut

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 13 (UPI) -- U.S. actress Jada Pinkett Smith is making her directorial debut with the romantic comedy "The Human Contract," which begins production this week.

Her husband, actor Will Smith, is producing the project, which is shooting in Los Angeles. It stars Jason Clarke, Paz Vega, Ted Danson and Idris Elba, Variety.com reported Tuesday.

Pinkett Smith will soon be seen on the big-screen in the re-make of "The Women."
