ATLANTA, Nov. 13 (UPI) -- U.S. television news presenter Nancy Grace has been hospitalized a week after giving birth to twins, it was reported Tuesday.

"This past Sunday, Nancy started experiencing discomfort and was having trouble breathing on her way to church," Headline News spokeswoman Janie Iamunno told People.com. "She was brought to the emergency room in Atlanta. Her doctors found two blood clots in her lungs, which occurred as a result of the pregnancy."

Grace is expected to stay in the hospital for the rest of the week.

"She thanks everyone for their continued prayers and support," Iamunno said.

Grace, 48, developed pulmonary edema during her pregnancy and gave birth to Lucy Elizabeth and John David Nov. 4 -- two months ahead of her January due date, People.com noted.
