In an interview with Glamour magazine, Aguilera, 26, said she will "enter into mommyhood" next year and intends to balance work with caring for her baby, People Magazine reported Sunday.
"I want to get it right," said Aguilera, who has sold more than 30 million albums worldwide.
This will be the first child for Aguilera and her husband, Jordan Bratman, 30, a music executive. "He's thrilled! He's just great," Aguilera said of her husband. The couple married Nov. 19, 2005, after dating for three years.
