LOS ANGELES, Oct. 30 (UPI) -- British actress Jane Seymour did not appear on Tuesday's "Dancing with the Stars" because she was in the hospital with food poisoning, it was reported.

Seymour, best-known for her roles on TV's "Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman" and in the movie "Wedding Crashers," reportedly was in the "Dancing" studio before the broadcast of the results episode Tuesday, Access Hollywood said.

Her jive with partner Tony Dovolani earned the lowest score of the night Monday.

The food poisoning is the latest in a string of recent unfortunate events in Seymour's life;

her mother passed away less than a month ago and she almost lost her home in last week's California wildfires.
