'Raiders' actress to return for 'Skull'

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 30 (UPI) -- U.S. actress Karen Allen reprises her "Raiders of the Lost Ark" role in the upcoming sequel, "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull," TMZ.com said.

The 56-year-old actress will appear again as Marion Ravenwood in the fourth installment of the "Indiana Jones" franchise, alongside Harrison Ford as the titular adventure-seeking archaeologist.

Cate Blanchett and Shia LaBeouf also star in the film, the plots and characters of which have been closely guarded.

Allen, who has starred in the films "Starman" and "Scrooged," has recently been seen in "The Perfect Storm" and "In the Bedroom."
