PETAH TIKVA , Israel, Oct. 30 (UPI) -- Israeli comedian and actor Yisrael Poliakov, who suffered a heart attack earlier this month, died at Bielinson Hospital in Petah Tikva at the age of 66.

Poliakov's family was by his side when he passed away Monday night, Ynetnews.com reported Tuesday.

A member of the Hagashash Hahiver, or Hagashashim comedy troupe and star of the TV series, "All's Good," Poliakov was hospitalized two weeks ago after suffering a severe heart attack.

His funeral is scheduled Wednesday at the cemetery in Kibbutz Einat.

Born in Jerusalem and raised in Tel Aviv, Poliakov is survived by his wife and three children, one of whom is Yael Poliakov, the actress and screenwriter who created and wrote the "All's Good" show based on her family.
