DiCaprio obsessed with sex, says Crowe
LOS ANGELES, Oct. 27 (UPI) -- Australian actor Russel Crowe said in an interview that screen heart-throb Leonardo DiCaprio was an 18-year-old virgin fixated on sex.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Crowe said, “You know, I worked with Leonardo when he was 18 (on the 1995 western ‘The Quick and the Dead’). He was a virgin, and he would talk about that constantly. So I'm hoping we have some time so he can fill in what's happened in between. Maybe show some photos.”
DiCaprio, 32, has recovered from his gauche adolescence to date some of entertainments hottest ladies, including Victoria’s Secret model, Gisele Bundchen.
No comment was available from the DiCaprio camp.
Kid Rock tells his side of the brawl
ATLANTA, Oct. 27 (UPI) -- Rapper Kid Rock says one thing just led to another before windows started breaking and he was arrested at an Atlanta waffle house.
“It started with me celebrating a great show that night,” he told Ellen DeGeneres on her television talk show. “We were hungry. It was late at night.”
“I know the people work hard at Waffle House so I tipped people behind the counter and gave $300 to split up. Bought everyone breakfast in there,” Rock said. “This one kid just started talking. … And then one thing led to another, windows were breaking. …”
Rock explained: "He said, `I hope you get mad, I'll sue the hell out of you.' I'm like, `Take a number.'"
Rock and five friends were released on bond Sunday after being arrested early in the day on a misdemeanor charge of simple battery, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported.
Spice Girls tired before they start
LONDON, Oct. 27 (UPI) -- Bickering has begun among the Spice Girls with just a month remaining before the launch of their $23 million sold-out world tour.
London's Daily Mail reports the reunion is like "patching a broken egg back together: a delicate operation which requires infinite reserves of patience, and loads and loads of glue."
The tour starts Dec. 2 yet the four Spice Girls have been together, for a video shoot, only two days since they announced the tour in June.
Spice Girl Emma Bunton has been seen in tears, tired of the tension and from caring for her 10-week-old baby, while Geri Halliwell needed so many "meditation" breaks the recent video shoot didn't end until 3 a.m., the Mail reported Saturday.
Victoria Beckham, wife of soccer star David Beckham, is constantly on her cell phone while Melanie Chisholm is jet lagged from weekly appearances on ABC's Dancing With The Stars.
"There is a big potential area of conflict when you look at all the hangers-on -- the family and boyfriends. They could well fuel the embers of any old grudges," said a source close to the Spice Girls.
Vietnam sex video scandal leads to arrests
HANOI, Vietnam, Oct. 27 (UPI) -- Four Vietnamese students were in custody Saturday accused of posting on the Internet a sex video clip showing a television actress and her boyfriend.
The video appeared to show the 19-year-old actress in a popular TV soap opera having sex, the BBC said. The four students could be sent to jail for up to three years if convicted for “dispersing illicit material of sexual content.”
They were arrested in Hanoi for allegedly copying the 16-minute video clip, filmed by mobile phone, from the boyfriend's computer. A five-minute version was posted on YouTube last week
Hoang Thuy Linh was fired from her role in Vang Ang's Diaries and disgraced for violating Vietnamese cultural values. The show was dropped from Vietnamese television.
The report said authorities were investigating 10 more people, some studying abroad, for “storing, transporting and dispersing illicit material.”
