SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 27 (UPI) -- Music mogul Jermaine Dupri has criticized Justin Timberlake is his new book, calling the U.S. singer a "skinny white kid" who is simply "ordinary looking."
The producer, who is dating singer Janet Jackson, wrote in "The Making of a Mogul: Young, Rich and Dangerous" that his take on the "SexyBack" singer is based on his personal experiences in the music industry, The San Francisco Chronicle said Saturday.
"I'm giving people my perspective as a music person, who creates artists from scratch," Dupri said in his book.
"I don't believe that the image that (Timberlake) gives me even makes me believe that he's as big star as he could be," he added. "I believe that his music is incredible but he doesn't have anything else to go along with the music."
For those who have since accused Dupri of attempting to get revenge for Timberlake's role in Jackson's famed "wardrobe malfunction" during the 2004 Super Bowl, the producer denies such allegations.
"I don't say anything about the Super Bowl in that whole statement," he said.
