LONDON, Oct. 24 (UPI) -- A judge at Thames Magistrates' Court in England lifted a drug treatment order for rocker Pete Doherty at a hearing Wednesday, the BBC reported.
District Judge Jane McIvor told the Babyshambles frontman she was going to rule on the advice of experts and revoke the six months left to serve on the order.
McIvor said Doherty had already been supervised for more than 18 months and said she was convinced the plan the musician had in place to help him stay clean would be followed.
"I wish you well," McIvor told him.
Doherty is due back in court later this week to be sentenced for driving while in possession of drugs in Kensington last spring.
"I have just had enough, really," Doherty said outside the court Wednesday. "It's just the beginning, you know what I mean? My life has changed."
Doherty said he was undergoing rehabilitation and wanted to tour again with his band, the BBC said.
