LOS ANGELES, Oct. 22 (UPI) -- Hollywood film actress and producer Kerri Randles claims TV talk show hostess Ellen DeGeneres has given away a dog to a staff member more than once.
DeGeneres recently came under fire for violating adoption rules by giving a dog she adopted to her hairdresser without permission.
"The very same thing happened to me, Ellen dumped my dog," Randles told Inside Edition. "I was totally shocked, she was acting like she was out of her mind."
Randles, who says she gave DeGeneres a dog named Stormy two years ago, found out the dog had been passed along to a member of DeGeneres' staff when she phoned to check up on the pup.
"What I found was that she was totally neurotic about every little detail, said Randles, who has appeared in the HBO movie "Introducing Dorothy Dandridge" and the new film "Rails and Ties."
