'Prison Break' star, wife split

LOS ANGELES , Oct. 22 (UPI) -- U.S. television star Dominic Purcell and his wife Rebecca Williamson have separated, People.com reported.

The couple has four children together.

"The separation is completely amicable and they remain friends," Purcell's representatives told People.

Purcell, who is best-known for his role on TV's "Prison Break," will soon be seen in Joel Schumacher's new thriller, "Town Creek."
