MINNEAPOLIS, Oct. 19 (UPI) -- A new DVD featuring performances by U.S. recording artist Carrie Underwood will only be available through Target with the purchase of her new album.
Packaged with "Carnival Ride," Underwood's new 13-track CD, the DVD features bonus footage available exclusively at Target stores and at Target.com, the chain said.
The DVD weaves interview footage with live, acoustic performances of four new album songs, including Underwood's latest Top 5 single, "So Small," Target said.
"I have really enjoyed the process of putting together this new album," Underwood said in a statement. "I spent more time writing and recording songs for 'Carnival Ride,' and I am so proud of what we've created."
"Carrie's fans have been waiting for a new album for close to two years," said Sue Peterson, senior music buyer for Target. "We are delighted to partner with Carrie and provide her fans with behind-the-scenes looks at her new album only at Target."
The new album is slated for release Oct. 23.
