NEW YORK, Oct. 18 (UPI) -- Actress Kathleen Turner will direct a new off-Broadway production of "Crimes of the Heart" in New York, said representatives for the show.

Patch Darragh, Jennifer Dundas, Sarah Paulson, Lily Rabe, Jessica Stone and Chandler Williams are set to star in the Roundabout Theatre Company staging of Beth Henley's Pulitzer Prize-winning play at the Laura Pels Theatre at the Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre.

Previews are slated to begin Jan. 18 and opening night is scheduled for Feb. 7.

"Crimes of the Heart" is described in show notes as "a sharply funny play about the sometimes frayed edges of sisterly bonds."

Although well-known for her role in "Body Heat," "Prizzi's Honor" and "Romancing the Stone," Turner is no stranger to the stage.

She won best actress Tony awards for "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof" in 1990 and "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf" in 2005, and also starred on Broadway in "Indiscretions" and "The Graduate."
