LOS ANGELES, Oct. 18 (UPI) -- A Los Angeles judge suspended singer Britney Spears' visitation rights with her children until she complies with several court orders in her custody battle.
"Petitioner's (Spears') visitation with the minor children is suspended pending the petitioner's compliance with court orders," the order read. Spears' ex-husband Kevin Federline has custody of the couple's two sons, Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden, 1.
Court spokesman Allan Parachini said the order was signed Wednesday by Scott M. Gordon, the court commissioner handling the custody case, CNN reported Thursday.
Legal representatives for Spears and Federline met behind closed doors Wednesday with Gordon, MTV.com reported. The order suspending Spears' visitation did not include what court orders were out of compliance.
While neither were present at Wednesday's hearing, Spears and Federline are required to attend the Oct. 26 hearing, when reports on Spears' drug testing, parental coaching and counseling were expected to be presented. Also expected to be presented are reports on Spears' joint co-parenting counseling and participation in a Parenting Without Conflict program with Federline.
