NEW YORK, Oct. 15 (UPI) -- U.S. actor Adrien Brody says he felt at ease working on "The Darjeeling Limited" -- even though he joined a group that had worked together before.
Filmmaker Wes Anderson has made all of his big-screen comedies, including "Limited," with Owen Wilson.
Jason Schwartzman, who co-wrote and co-stars in "Limited," also headlined Anderson's "Rushmore."
Schwartzman's cousin, Roman Coppola, also helped write "Limited."
Asked if he had any reservations about joining this close-knit group, Brody told UPI: "I felt very welcomed into their family and was honored to become a part of that. Hopefully, there will be more in the future. Wes is an amazing director."
Brody, who won an Oscar for his performance in "The Pianist," said he hopes people who see "Limited" will see him in a new light.
"Now people can see that I have a sense of humor," he said. "It's been hard to get a comedy -- a comedy that has some depth. There have been some opportunities, but this one really is just what I wanted to do, actually. It's really great because it's entertaining and light and broad and silly, but at the same time, it's emotional. It stuck with me."
