LOS ANGELES, Oct. 14 (UPI) -- American actress Julia Roberts expressed that she has everything she hoped for at a who’s-who event in her honor in Los Angeles.
The American Cinematheque at the Egyptian Theater in Beverly Hills hosted the event honoring the work and life of the 40-year-old actress, who hit it big with her role in 1990 romantic comedy “Pretty Woman.”
Celebrities from Tom Hanks to Shirley MacLaine paid tribute to Roberts’ career.
“Everybody loves Julia, everybody, everybody,” Hanks cooed at the event, People magazine reports.
Roberts, who turns 40 Oct. 28, is a mother of three and is married to Daniel Moder, whom she met on the set of the 2000 romantic comedy “The Mexican," where Moder worked as a cameraman.
“More than anything I am just the most proud wife and mother to three of the most amazing children,” Roberts said at the event.
