It's a girl for Nolte and gal pal

LOS ANGELES , Oct. 9 (UPI) -- Hollywood actor Nick Nolte and his girlfriend, Clytie Lane, have a baby girl, People.com reported Tuesday.

"They're very happy about the addition," a representative for the 66-year-old actor told the magazine's Web site.

The child was born last Wednesday in Los Angeles.

"The baby girl, who has yet to be named, weighed 7 pounds and 13 ounces at birth. Both mother and daughter are doing well," the representative said.

Nolte, who is best-known for his roles in "Hulk," "The Prince of Tides" and "The Good Thief," has a son, Brawley, from a previous marriage.

He will next be seen in "The Spiderwick Chronicles" and is now filming the Ben Stiller comedy, "Tropic Thunder," People.com said.
