Ving Rhames has got 'The Goods'

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 8 (UPI) -- Hollywood actors Ving Rhames and David Koechner are teaming up to make the new big-screen comedy, "The Goods: The Don Ready Story."

To be directed by "Chappelle's Show" veteran Neal Brennan, the movie is about a used car liquidator hired to save a struggling dealership over the Fourth of July, the Hollywood Reporter said Monday.

The film, which co-stars Jeremy Piven, is slated to start shooting in December in Los Angeles.

Best-known for starring in "Pulp Fiction" and the "Mission: Impossible" movies, Rhames will next be seen in "Day of the Dead" and "Evil Angel."

Koechner, who has appeared in TV show "The Office" and in the film, "Balls of Fury," will soon be seen in "Get Smart" and "Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story," the entertainment trade paper noted.
