NEW YORK, Oct. 8 (UPI) -- U.S. rap mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs plans to develop a relationship with and take legal responsibility for his sixth child, the New York Daily News reported.
Combs said he is "committed to being a good father" to his 15-month-old daughter, Chance.
"At first, I wasn't sure if this was my child," Combs said. "Now that it has become clear she is, I will take care of her for the rest of her life."
Combs and his long-time girlfriend, Kim Porter, split up earlier this year, reportedly, in part, because he fathered a child with Sarah Chapman.
Although Combs' camp has repeatedly denied the story, the music-industry titan now admits he was waiting to acknowledge Chance as his daughter until after DNA tests had been completed.
Sources tell the Daily News that Combs has worked out visitation and support terms with Chapman.
They also reveal Combs has been trying to work things out with Porter, the mother of three of his children, including toddler twins.
Combs also has a 13-year-old son, Justin, with ex-girlfriend Misa Hylton-Brim.
