NEW YORK, Oct. 6 (UPI) -- Nielson ratings from last week show CBS led the major networks among the 18-49-year-old demographic, though all networks showed declines from the previous week.

Viewing across all demographics declined 7 percent compared with ratings for season premiers the week prior, USA Today reports.

The 9 p.m. slot for the three major networks -- CBS, NBC, and ABC -- showed declines in viewers from the previous week of season premier episodes.

“CSI”, airing on CBS, “Grey’s Anatomy” on ABC and NBC’s “The Office” all showed viewers drop off in the coveted prime-time slot, says The Hollywood Reporter.

The 8 p.m. slot faired slightly better, with CBS’ “Survivor” edging slightly ahead of ABC’s “Ugly Betty.” “30 Rock,” which airs on NBC, hit a record for adults 18-49 with its guest appearance by comedian Jerry Seinfeld.

All markets showed a decline in the 10 p.m. time slot.

CBS led in ratings compared to ABC, NBC, Fox and The CW.
