LOS ANGELES, Oct. 6 (UPI) -- It's not even published yet but Janet Jackson Friday touted her upcoming book about weight loss at a movie release in Los Angeles.

Jackson, 41, told People magazine the book will be about her experience with fluctuating weight gains. She said the as-yet untitled book chronicles “the soul” of her experience, as well as reveals her weight-loss secrets.

Her comments came as she attended the premier of Tyler Perry's "Why Did I Get Married?".

Jackson spoke of the effects an extra 60 pounds had on her life.

“I could not believe how big I was,” Jackson told the entertainment show "Extra."

Jackson also spoke of rumors regarding possible nuptials with her current boyfriend, music producer Jermaine Dupri.

“I pray this doesn’t bite me in the butt … But they say the third time is a charm,” the twice-divorced Jackson said.
