Snipes hires new lawyers for tax case

OCALA, Fla., Oct. 2 (UPI) -- Hollywood actor Wesley Snipes has retained the Bernhoft Law Firm as his lead trial attorneys to defend him against pending criminal tax charges.

The announcement was made Tuesday in federal court in Ocala, Fla., the firm said in a statement.

Bernhoft Law Firm attorneys Robert Bernhoft and Robert Barnes previously represented Snipes after false paternity charges were levied against him in New York.
