VAN NUYS, Calif., Sept. 27 (UPI) -- Hollywood actress Vivica A. Fox has pleaded not guilty to two counts of drunken driving in a Van Nuys, Calif. courthouse, People.com reported Thursday.
Fox, who recently competed in "Dancing with the Stars" and acted in the films "Kill Bill: Vol. 1," "Soul Food" and "Independence Day," was not in court when her attorney, Richard Hutton, entered the plea.
Hutton has previously represented Paris Hilton.
Fox was arrested at about 11 p.m. on March 20 for suspicion of driving under the influence after police pulled her over for speeding and failing to stay in her lane.
Police said a field sobriety test was administered and Fox scored more than .08, which is the legal limit in California.
If convicted on both misdemeanor charges, Fox faces a maximum of six months in jail and a $1,000 fine.
A trial date is set for Oct. 29.
