Artist again known as Prince wows London

LONDON, Sept. 22 (UPI) -- Prince has wrapped up an epic 21-night stand in London that has critics buzzing about a revival of the U.S. rocker’s career.

Britain’s The Telegraph reported Saturday that around a half a million fans saw Prince in a series of shows it ranked with legendary London engagements by Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton and Pink Floyd.

The newspaper said Prince focused on his hits catalog and fielded a band of superb musicians that had the crowd cheering after nearly every solo.

Prince also endeared himself to fans by jamming at the Indigo nightclub after the concerts.
