Sex Pistols plan London reunion

LONDON, Sept. 18 (UPI) -- The Sex Pistols are planning a reunion concert in London to mark the 30th anniversary of their seminal punk rock album, "Never Mind the Bollocks."

Original members John Lydon, Steve Jones, Paul Cook and Glen Matlock are slated to perform at the Brixton Academy on Nov. 8 to celebrate the album, which will be reissued to tie in with the anniversary, the BBC said Tuesday.

Four singles from the influential disc -- "God Save the Queen," "Anarchy in the UK," "Pretty Vacant" and "Holidays in the Sun' -- will also be re-released on vinyl.

NME magazine is campaigning to get "God Save the Queen" to top the British record charts after it was originally banned by the BBC and reached only No. 2 its first time around.

The Nov. 8 concert will be the first time the band has performed together since 2003. They broke up in 1978.

Tickets go on sale Friday.
